Snails For Sale
As we have said elsewhere on this web site, although our name is snailtrail.co.uk, our campervans are all young - and so for their type, drive at very respectable speeds. But because life becomes more leisurely in a VW camper van, and because they provide you with a home-from-home wherever your travels may take you, we affectionately think of them as our snails, hence the title of this page.
At snailtrail we are constantly looking to update our fleet, and so from time to time we have to say goodbye to one of our much loved campers. They are not old and have been very well cared for, but we must keep moving on. So on this page we list the snails we have for sale. We also offer for sale here young Volkswagen campers on behalf of other sellers, and VW campers that have not been on our hire fleet but which we think you may like.

Hey there Delilah ...
... a gorgeous right-hand drive, 4 berth camper who goes by the name of Delilah. She has a pop-up roof, auxiliary battery, electric hook up, hob, grill and coolbox.Traditional air cooled engine and 55 plate. Approximately 30,000 kms on the clock. We think she's mighty pretty!! Delilah has been working for the BBC - so we can honestly say that she is "as seen on TV"!

Meet Ethel ...
... this beautiful, right hand drive, 05 camper has a full width rock n' roll bed/ rear seat and so can seat up to 5 people. Ethel has a pop-up roof, auxiliary battery, electric hook up, hob, grill, sink and coolbox. Her blue is a truly beautiful colour - makes us think of summer seas. Traditional air cooled engine. Approximately 45,000 kms on the clock but she'd love to travel further...

Fittings include fridge, cooker, strip lights, 2 x three point seat belts, cd player and speakers, alloy wheels, lowered suspension, chrome pack, auxiliary battery. Poppy comes with a one year full parts and labour warranty. Left hand drive. Two berth - a pop-up roof with further bed can be added at extra cost.

She has a full camping interior, one rear 3 point seat belt and one rear lap belt (can be changed to 3 point at extra cost). There is a hand-made original 70's style heat lining and painted dash. The Chausson Flash 03 won the Which Motorcaravan? Best Family Motorhome 2006 Award. This vehicle was registered in 2006 and has travelled approximately 19,000 miles. It features a kitchenette with fridge, grill, hob and sink, and a wc with shower, vanity sink and toilet. Large over-cab king size bed, bunk beds & small double bed which converts from the dining area. There is also a flat screen tv with dvd player and bike rack for 4 bikes, the clever design provides a "garage" area to the rear of the motorhome when the bunk beds are not in use.
